Child Care Assistance Program

The Crestland Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) helps low-income families pay for child care so parents can work or attend school. Town of Summitville Human Services determines eligibility based on income, family size, and work or school status. Co-payments are based on a sliding fee scale.

The Town Council will review progress on this initiative at their July 18 business meeting. Agenda items and supporting documents are posted on the Town of Summitville website 72 hours before each meeting.

Crestland state law requires all towns to provide these services to eligible residents. The Town of Summitville exceeds minimum state requirements by offering expanded hours, multilingual support, and online access. In 2024, the town received a state award for excellence in service delivery.
