Access the Town of Summitville’s online permitting system to submit applications, schedule inspections, upload documents, and check permit status 24/7. The portal supports building permits, septic permits, grading permits, and land use applications.
Wildfire risk mapping conducted by Wildfire Partners shows that 32% of properties in the Granite Falls area are within the wildland-urban interface. Free home assessments are available through the Wildfire Partners program, with rebates of up to $2,500 for mitigation improvements.
The project includes improvements along Summit Crest Road between Granite Falls and the intersection with 63rd Street. Construction is scheduled to begin in August 2026 with completion expected within 7 months.

What You Need to Know
Transportation access remains a key concern. The Town of Summitville’s Summit Connect mobility program provides door-to-door transit service for residents in Granite Falls and surrounding communities who cannot access fixed-route bus service. STA routes Ridge Line, Valley Loop, and the Highlander serve major corridors.
Eligible participants include Town of Summitville residents with household incomes at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI). For a family of four, this is approximately $112,000 per year. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
