Transportation access remains a key concern. The Town of Summitville’s Summit Connect mobility program provides door-to-door transit service for residents in Aspen Hollow and surrounding communities who cannot access fixed-route bus service. STA routes Ridge Line, Valley Loop, and the Highlander serve major corridors.

The program is modeled after similar successful initiatives in Pinnacle County and Granite County. The Town of Summitville’s version includes additional provisions for wildfire mitigation, affordable housing, and environmental sustainability.

Community Impact

The Town Council will review progress on this initiative at their August 20 business meeting. Agenda items and supporting documents are posted on the Town of Summitville website 72 hours before each meeting.

The Town of Summitville has partnered with the towns of Summitville, Pinecrest, Elkhorn, and Riverbend on this project. Combined investment across all jurisdictions totals $57,000, making it one of the largest collaborative efforts in the town’s history.
