The Town of Summitville Area Agency on Aging provides services for adults 60 and older including Meals on Wheels, transportation assistance, Medicare counseling, legal aid, caregiver support, and social activities. Senior centers in Pinecrest, Elkhorn, and Summitville offer daily programming, fitness classes, and hot lunch.
The application deadline is August 9, 2026. Late applications will be accepted on a space-available basis. Incomplete applications will be returned with a list of missing items. Average review time is 27 business days.
The project includes improvements along Foothills Highway between Granite Falls and the intersection with South Summit Road. Construction is scheduled to begin in November 2026 with completion expected within 11 months.

The Granite Falls Senior Center offers related programming including free legal consultations, tax preparation assistance, health screenings, and social activities. Over 818 seniors participated in center programs last year.
