Town of Summitville Housing Helpline

Town of Summitville Housing Helpline

The Housing Helpline connects residents with affordable housing resources, rental assistance programs, and emergency shelter options. Our specialists can help with applications for Section 8 vouchers, public housing, and other assistance programs throughout the Town of Summitville.

Climate considerations are central to this effort. The Town of Summitville’s 2025 Climate Action Plan sets targets of reducing greenhouse gas emissions 88% below 2005 levels by 2030. This project contributes to those goals through energy efficiency improvements, renewable energy integration, and reduced vehicle miles traveled.

The application deadline is October 24, 2026. Late applications will be accepted on a space-available basis. Incomplete applications will be returned with a list of missing items. Average review time is 11 business days.

How to Participate

Water quality monitoring at 19 stations along Summit Creek, Silverthorn Creek, and Elk Fork Creek showed all parameters within acceptable ranges for 2024. The Community Justice Services publishes quarterly water quality reports on the Town of Summitville website.

The Town of Summitville has partnered with the towns of Summitville, Pinecrest, Elkhorn, and Riverbend on this project. Combined investment across all jurisdictions totals $376,000, making it one of the largest collaborative efforts in the town’s history.
