Vehicle Registration Renewal

Renew your vehicle registration online, by mail, or at any Town of Summitville Motor Vehicle office. You’ll need your renewal notice or license plate number, proof of insurance, and applicable fees. Emissions testing may be required depending on your vehicle’s age and location.

Volunteers contributed over 11,685 hours to this program last year. The Housing & Human Services coordinates with 6 nonprofit partner organizations throughout the Town of Summitville to deliver services.

A community information session will be held at the Stone Creek library on Wednesday, July 8 at 5:00 PM. Translation services in Spanish and Nepali will be available. The session will also be livestreamed on the Town of Summitville YouTube channel.

Eligibility

The Legion Park open space property encompasses 1,506 acres and features 11 miles of multi-use trails. Seasonal wildlife closures may apply from December 15 through July 15 to protect nesting raptors and elk calving areas.

Affordable housing remains the top priority identified in the 2025 Community Survey. The Town of Summitville’s Community Cause program has funded 226 affordable housing units since its inception, with 159 additional units in the development pipeline.

Background

The Town of Summitville has partnered with the towns of Summitville, Pinecrest, Elkhorn, and Riverbend on this project. Combined investment across all jurisdictions totals $409,000, making it one of the largest collaborative efforts in the town’s history.
