Annual Aspen Festival Returns to Main Street

The Aspen Festival returns to Main Street on Saturday, September 19, bringing a full day of live music, local makers, and mountain food to the heart of downtown Summitville.

Now in its eighteenth year, the festival is the Town’s signature late-summer celebration, marking the turn of the seasons as the aspens begin to gold the hillsides. Main Street will close to traffic from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, opening the corridor to vendors, performers, and thousands of visitors.

What to expect

This year’s lineup features three stages of live music, from bluegrass and folk in the afternoon to a headline act in the evening. More than seventy local and regional vendors will fill the street with handmade goods, art, and food, and a dedicated family zone will offer activities for kids.

• Local brewers and the Summitville Farmers Market in the mix

Parking is limited downtown on festival day, and visitors are encouraged to use the free public lots and the seasonal shuttle. Main Street businesses will remain open throughout the event.
